IS IT THAT TIME ALREADY?

Yesterday and Friday were quite warm here in the Bay Area. For personal bloodcirculatory purposes, I hate such days. Especially if, as is the case, they coincide with my work hours. Everything below the knees felt like a truck had rolled over them by the end of shift.
It should be a little cooler this afternoon.

The beginning of Autumn here always feels like the continuation of Summer, but this time with an attitude problem. It's unfair to make the official start of fall the equinox, when it's obvious the climate in California will not cooperate for several more weeks.


Some people, blithely ignoring actual conditions and strictly going by the month, have already started celebrating Hallowe'en. Anticipatorily. With giddiness.


This blogger will not be in a pumpkin-festive mood till probably the middle of November. Or January.


Bah humbug.
