MATT GAETZ HAS DISCOVERED THE INTERNET!

Years ago, before the internet, people with unique points of view would paint their theses on the sides of vans, in large letters, and drive slowly around business areas where there were lots of pedestrians with a speaker mounted on top, explaining why the illuminati were coming for you beware of the hamsters and avoid beef, in calm measured tones so as to not scare you and permanently imprint the message in your mind.

Months later you would see that van again, and remember "oh yeah, that dude".

The metal barrier between you and them was reassuring.

When personal computers became a thing and every one had a printer, shorter far angrier screeds in a variety of type faces would end up on light or utility poles along Market Street from the Embarcadero all the way to the Powell Street Turnaround.
The spelling errors made you wonder.
Far out, man.

Fortunately, because he's got a podcast now and engages in spoken word stream of consciousness art, Matt Gaetz is not bedevilled by spelling errors. He free floats.

"There is a permanent element of society that is dangerous, and it does not make us more just or more compassionate to have them walking amongst the rest of us because then you see the type of loss of life that we’ve seen too frequently from these acts of violence -- good people have a right to exist in the country without wondering if some crazy leftist or mentally ill individual lurking around the corner is about to post up and kill you, maybe even at your local bank like we saw in Kentucky."

"The Democratic Party and Big Pharma [ ] are unleashing the crazies on you, and nobody seems to have a solution for it. So here’s one. We need to reopen the asylums -- there are severely mentally ill people who do not have a right to wander our streets seeking and selecting who they are going to terrorize."

"The Democrats are purposefully riling up their nutty shock troops in hopes that they will terrorize normal Americans into submission."

------Matt Gaetz

The best thing that can be said about Matt Gaetz is that he isn't Ted Cruz. Leave it at that.
I shan't speculate as to whether his imaginary van goes all the way to the top.
His mental landscape is a wind-swept wide-open space.
A veritable victory of special ed.

Bless his heart.
