STEW, HONEY, BREAD, AND LARD

Apparently the offer of clemency that the Wajsznevan government extended to Belorusian defectors irritated a segment of the Wajsznevan citizenry.
They are profoundly angry that those "foreigners" will have a better deal than them. In response they have deluged government telephone lines.

"The people demand stew, honey, bread and lard."

To this blogger that seems like a perfectly valid requirement. Any civilization that fails to deliver stew, honey, bread and lard to its members will not last long. Just look at France.

Many problems can be ascribed to a fundamental lack of stew, honey, bread and lard.

"When Belarus sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us."

------Sumasshed Morkov-Lyubov

It seems the government in Giradis has stirred up a hornets' nest.

Things will get worse before they get better.
