In such a manner they have bamboozled concerned yet uninformed people into believing that they are a valid voice for peace, and not at all involved in anything that enables or empowers bigots, racists, and Israel-haters.
Sometimes, however, their kommisars show their true colours.

Making the Connection: What was Done and What is to be Done
Professor of History at Stanford University Joel Beinin, Berkeley PhD candidate and Electronic Intifada journalist Osamah Khalil, and Director of Campaigns and Programs at Jewish Voice for Peace Sydney Levy will be discussing the U.S.-Israeli relationship and the potential for an effective Boycott, Divestment, and Sanction Initiative.
----------------------------
The Electronic Intifada unreservedly speaks in favour of several terrorist organizations, Israel-hater Joel Beinin's reputation is pungently rotten. It should be surprising to find Sydney Levy at the same table as the other two gentlemen.
Given his background, however, and his work in other fields, this blogger feels that it should have been entirely predictable.
Sydney Levy is instrumental in several anti-Israel campaigns, most notably divestment. On the other hand, he is also extremely active in immigrant rights campaigns and various other very worthwhile causes, and it is probable that he is sincerely humanistic in that context.
But regarding Israel, he is profoundly and terrifyingly ignorant, and biased.
As with many people, an activist role in one area flatters him into assuming an expertise and credibility in other areas that is entirely unwarranted.
The enslavement of liberalism in America to the hatreds and bigotries of the new anti-Semites starts with precisely such enablers and apologists.

Good one. Sounds like a right whore to the Arabs.
Does he also give xxxx jobs?
Or does he feel merely warmly hugging them is enough?
Hey, did you see that article by Ishmael Khalidi?
It's this article:

Lost in the blur of slogans
"I am a proud Israeli - along with many other non-Jewish Israelis such as Druze, Bahai, Bedouin, Christians and Muslims, who live in one of the most culturally diversified societies and the only true democracy in the Middle East. Like America, Israeli society is far from perfect, but let us deals honestly. By any yardstick you choose - educational opportunity, economic development, women and gay's rights, freedom of speech and assembly, legislative representation - Israel's minorities fare far better than any other country in the Middle East"
Of course that means that the SF Chronicle is going to get tons of hate mail in the next few days, and will be accused of pro-Zionist stoogery for several more years.
The pro-Palestine students on Bay Area campuses are NOT interested in dialogue. Everybody who disagrees with them is wrong, and must be shouted down.
Clearly the noodle is worried about her own eventual college landing, at, no doubt, a Bay Area campus with a high degree of politically correct hate and violence... err, I mean, politically correct 'dislike' and 'rhetorical creativity'. Yes, that's it.
Bugger the pro-pallie dunces! They would gladly sell their mothers and sisters into sexual slavery if it served their cause.

Probably all bhakrichotes anyhow. Damned Delhiwallahs.

A reputation all Muslims have, by the way. Not just the haramzadas from Delhi. Absolutely ALL of the Islamic Haramzadas have that reputation. Well deserved, too. Sheep may NOT safely graze in their lands, and goats, well, goats are just skite out of luck.

Well, Tikvah, the Zionist group on campus fought back with a beautiful multigenerational, multicultural event.
Check out the photos on their facebook page and throughout the web.
Just heartwarming.
