Gaula Shehadeh

Manja Smits
Radi Suudi
Zaid Tayem
Paul Ulenbelt
Krista van Velzen
Jan de Wit

With one exception, these people are either members of the Socialistische Partij or members of front-organizations, often both. The exception is former prime-minister Andries van Agt, who is an Anti-Semite of a type rather frightfully common in the Benelux (other examples: Gretta Duisenberg and Paul de Rooij - the reason why Paul is not on this list is that he lives in London).

All of these people have tacitly or actively endorsed continued terrorist attacks against Israel.
In that desire, they join the rest of European socialist parties (rebranded successors to the old-style Stalinist parties).

A more convincing argument for an expanded no-fly list is hard to imagine.

Nonsense. These are not antisemites. Even better, many of them cooperate with "A Different Jewish Voice", the Jewish organization that condemns the mass murders done by Israel.

The back of the hill said...

That is actually proof-positive that they ARE anti-Semites. Een Ander Joods Geluid are the self-hating collaborators who have capitulated, and now provide cover for every left-wing Jew-hating blaaskaak in the Netherlands.

We have people like that here too. They go by the names "Jewish Voice for Peace", "Women In Black", and many other high-fallutin' nomes. They stand in solidarity with everybody yelling racist slogans at anti-Israel events. And by doing so, they allow the political anti-Semites to claim that they aren't against the Jews, why else would Jews be standing in solidarity with them?

In point of fact, EAJG is about as Jewish as a bacon-cheeseburger. Merely Jews of Convenience, and only when it is convenient to be Jews.

Net so iets dus als die Nederlanders die na de oorlog beweerden dat ze in het verzet zaten.

Well, you will find the number of people buying the US/Israël propaganda a lot longer, so your lies are still being believed.

Working on that though, through trying to find factual information and objective reporting. Something neither US/Israël nor Hamas/Hezbollah seem to find very important.

Just remember: in the end the Truth will prevail :-)

I've heard the term anti-Semite used so often and in such a wide variety of contexts that it's starting to lose meaning, which if very troublesome in my opinion.

Wanting to help the common Palestinian does not make one anti-Semite, nor does condemning terrorist attack make you an enemy of the Palestinians.

Both sides have shown remarkable talent for screwing over the other side, and more importantly, themselves.

Can you please add the following person to your list.

Name: Jelle Klaas
Profession: lawyer in Haarlem.

Jelle Klaas is an left wing activist of the Internationale Socialisten, a very antisemic organisation.

Damn. You sound like the average hysterical jew that paranoid.
Please consider that they protest against the Israeli agression used against Palestinians.
Agression from a racist and illegal apartheidstate which occupies Palastine for over 50 years.
That has nothing to do with anti-semites, it's about having the right view regarding justice.

Jelle Klaas of the Internationale Socialisten ( Dutch version of the British Socialist Worker), a so called Trotzky organisation, is a great supporter of Hamas. He even had contact with them on the Cairo Conference, a meeting of Moslim radicalists and communists.

http://is-nieuws.blogspot.com/2008/03/cairo-conferentie-trefpunt-tussen-oost.html

Jelle Klaas has also helped killing Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn, by demonizing him and calling to stop Pim Fortuyn.
Jelle Klaas is also a great supporter of the murderous Columbian Farc organisation. He had even recruited a young student for de Farc.

Pathetic. Israel causes most of the problems themselves, the Palestinians aren't helping to solve them either. Frankly, I'm surprised anyone even cares to mention the israeli invasion. In the several decades that it lasted now, it's degraded from "a serious conflict" to "right, them again. next news item please?".

Strangely, you don't seem to care what's being done and by who. In your view, Israel is always right. Wake up, you've been brainwashed.

Unknown said...

Oh man, you are dumb! Why is everyone who is against the totally uncalled-for and disproportional way in which Irael is behaving now in Gaza and two years back in Lebanon by definition an antisemite? By that definition I am also an antisemite, which, I might add, I am not.

B.t.w., do you know that antisemites should also be anti-Palestine? Palestinians are arabs, and arabs are also semites. If you don't believe me, just look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semitic

I have a great idea. If the west provides the weapons (assuming Israel doesn't have them yet), why don't you just nuke each other. Problem solved. Next topic and we can move on with our lives.

Anonymous said...

Nonsense. From SP Website:

“The Netherlands and the EU must take a more active stance and call for a halt to the spiral of violence. We have to do more than look dismayed and express our regrets. We must at the very least try to bring Hamas and Israel to a point where they put a stop to the bloodshed. Further civilian deaths must be prevented. Negotiations must be established between the warring parties, and the Netherlands and the EU could possibly play a mediating role in this."

Your post is so nonsense. What's wrong with you mate?

Dear Layla and Madjnun,

Please explain to me why I should put two of my favourite literary characters on this list. I am baffled.

Besides, I didn't know that there were extraordinarily long-lived Persians resident in the Netherlands.....
Sorry about the ghastly climate (and rather miserable cuisine), but how are you enjoying the place otherwise?

The back of the hill said...

Don't get me wrong, i truly sympathize with the Israeli's. But to say that every critic is an anti-semite is very, very dumb.

Where do I do that? I specifically called Dries van Agt an anti-Semite because his criticism of Israel is rooted in his blinkered version of Christianity - in particular, in the rigid Catholicism of Noord-Brabant. I know that particular Catholicism extremely well.
I remember being told, on a daily basis, that I was damned and going to hell because I was not like them. And I also remember that many of my 'klasgenoten' were not allowed to associate with me by their parents because I was not like them. Not that they would have wished for my company anyhow, because they too believed that I was subhuman and to be hated.

I shall admit that there is much to criticize about Israel. The point of difference is that the people listed above are actively involved in trying to destroy Israel, and refuse to even consider any point of view that does not accord with their rabidly pro-Arab biases. The people in the list are incapable of a fair and balanced point of view. And those of them who are in the parliament are habitual whores to the worst sentiments of the immigrant population (not that the heirs to the KenML could be any other way inclined anyhow).

There are always two sides to every issue. The people I list above do not accept any other point of view as valid save their own. And actively support terrorists such as Hamas and Hezbollah.

Am i a racist if i voted McCain in stead of Obama?

Not necessarily. You might agree with him. And approve of his political program. Which would be a valid pov. Not one I would agree with. But nevertheless valid.

If, on the other hand, you voted for or against a candidate based on race as the primary consideratum, I would indeed consider you a racist.

Reading-comprehension, and a sense of balance, are clearly not talents you possess. Let me guess - you graduated fairly recently?

You might want to look up the classic definitions of anti-Semite, as well as the more apposite modern expansion of that definition. You will perhaps note (though given that your reading skills are probably not quite up to snuff, maybe not), that demonizing Israel is part of the definition. That, precisely, is what your party (I presume you are an SP stooge), does constantly, consistently.

Additionally, I note that you are facile in your use of modern "progressive" tropes like dismissing the charge of Israel-bashing being anti-Semitic and flinging the word 'fascist' into the fray.

Get this through your head: anti-Semitism and Israel-bashing largely overlap; not all anti-Israel assholes are anti-Semites, but ALL anti-Semites hate Israel. And by tolerating the anti-Semitism in their ranks, by tacitly approving of it, supporting it, and in fact nourishing it, the Socialistische Party and its fellow travelers, as well as large segments of European society and a majority of Arab public opinion, discredit themselves, and prove themselves bigots of the worst type.

You will have to wait until someone puts together a list of Dutch idiots or egomaniacs. Though that would be a pointless exercise - the list would be immense, and ever-changing.
I do not have room for a list tallying several million.

The back of the hill said...

Come up with something better next time.

Okay. How about "een zure betwettende typisch stuk Brabants bigotrie"?

He is most definitely an anti-Semite. Like so many Kattelieke kinkels in that rottig klein zelf-ingenomen opscheppend immerbeterwetend kaaskontreitje.
Exactly like many Dutch hate Moroccans, Turks, Surinamers, Gipsies, Americans, and even the neighboring Europeans, so do many in the Netherlands also despise the Jews. For whatever imaginative and wholly fantastic reasons. Some more intellectually than others, but just as instinctive - contempt for others is inherent in your society, it is something you learn van kinds af aan.

It is furthermore a characteristic of the Dutch, strongly manifested by lecturing dominee-types like Andries van Agt, that they are ALWAYS right, and will never ever concede that the side that dares to contradict them has any valid reason for doing so. The Dutch are not neutral, dammit, they are biased, partisan, small minded (and at times even great, gallant, and noble) - but not neutral.

Moroccans who have settled in the United States are an entirely different kettle of fish, of course - here they find the opportunities which your society promises them but withholds. Precisely like so many other groups which have adapted and become American. Like Dutchmen, other Europeans, Indos and other Asians, and ........ Jews.

Here's a video that shows exactly how noble Hamas is, and why Hamas, in the eyes of many of their Arab and European followers, needs to be recognized as the exemplary representative of Palestinian aspirations that it is.

Pastable link:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6041204945834291260&hl=en

Clicakbly:
JUSTICE IN PALESTINE

As you can see, this is what many of the European and Arab supporters of Hamas truly believe represents the correct approach to the Palestine question. And I'm sure that the PLO representatives shown in the video whole-heartedly agree.

Guido van Leemput

Please remember, the SP are the direct heirs of the KENML, who enthusiastically cheered on the excesses of Polpot, and even years after the truth had come out approved of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution in China - a humanitarian and cultural disaster of nearly unimaginable proportions, whose dead victims number in the million, whose living victims number in the several tens of millions.

The SP consists almost entirely of damaged goods; political activists with a high degree of viciousness, sadism, opportunism. Ethical cripples and backers of brutal leftwing dictators.

A complete list of SP members would of course be a good thing. That way the civilized majority in the Western World would know whom to shoot.

Both Jelle Klaas and Tanya Niemeyer should be, along with the entire leadership of the European ultra-left, lined up and shot. They are responsible for much that is wrong in the world.
