AND THAT WASN'T A UNIFORM EITHER

A disturbing dream involving a prisoner of war camp in a building complex and a hot climate. Elements of Art Nouveau, Bauhaus, and De Stijl, plus a man appointed head of the prisoners, who afterwards we abused for having been a collaborator. In the areas where the hot bright sun cast arched shadows. Plus the sound of childrens voices. Don't let them see what we are doing.

Art Nouveau, Bauhaus, and De Stijl.
All very dated and period.

I am not an architect, but I considered the dimensions and curves of the buildings precise.

And somehow, the blueprints were also in the dream, and quite beautiful.

There are no buildings like that anywhere in San Francisco to the best of my knowledge, and modern architecture on the whole is more blockish except for pretencious stylistic elements that both show how irritatingly clever the design concept is, as well as how pedestrian the tastes of the building committee are.

None of the people I knew in that dream live in San Franciso.
Their names are unremembered, but they were all civilians.
