An article about Northern California's best breakfast (as per reports) showed a photo that included diverse fried stuff, strawberries, butter, eggs, honey, and a bottle of ketchup. From my point of view, substitutions are required. For one thing, the ketchup is unimportant, and shouldn't be there. Replace it with Tabasco or Sriracha. And what's with the strawberries?
Also, that fried stuff does not seem edible so early in the day.
Altogether, breakfast is a ghastly idea.
Coffee and a smoke.
Plus the New York Times.
