I'D LOVE A SANDWICH ABOUT NOW

In another week or so it will be Thanksgiving, which is when it is right and proper that families cluster together and drink too much while giving each other the heebiejeeps and whatever communicable diseases they have. Colds, flu, covid, syphilis, and clinical depression.
Followed by Christmas, New Years, and another wave.

This blogger does not do that. Thanksgiving and Christmas, both overrated holidays, are bearable if they are quick. And largely done without kinfolk.

Which is why I sympathize with Michael here:

The only good things about the Holiday Season are Belgian cookies, more chocolate than normal, Pizza parties, and cheese.

.
Other than that, if you're alone, it's a time of depression.

If you're in a group, it's an existential crisis.

Either way there's football.

Some of us do not watch football. We'd rather watch paint dry.
Or have a sandwich.
