Having given up booze entirely because it might interact badly with a medication I am on, none of this affects me. But I am still intellectually fond of both Irish and Scotch distillates, despite the makers of both types being largely unbearable sanctimonious twats.
Some jolly good plonk comes out of the peat bogs of the British Isles.
Oude Genever, from the Netherlands, is also rather nice, but there just isn't enough of the good stuff for the rest of the world, so it's probably just as well that the Anglos don't drink it.
Jonge Jenever is basically Dutch strength-preference vodka and has consequently already invaded your local urban drinking hole.
Again, I do not imbibe, so das ist für mich vollständigs scheiß-egal.
In any case, that basically leaves vodka, so, in a way, Russian election interference. Because as previously noted, Americans are largely alcoholics.
MACHA'S BROOCH, ARMAGH, SOUTH EAST ULSTER
Whiskey, in one of its various forms, probably accounts for why the Scots are a bunch of dour unlikable know-it-alls, the Irish are violent rapists, and Southerners are ignorant bigots inclined to having visions and drunk driving. The Canadians are an exception.
Oude Genever leads to a philosophical state of mind.
As well as brilliant innovations.
The Romans did not have Oude Genever.
Quod erat demonstrandum.
