MEAN THOUGHTS ABOUT YOUR TEAM

Over three centuries ago Yan Ruogu (閻若璩 'yim yeuk keui') committed sheer heresy by establishing that the actual authorship of a Confucian classic was more than questionable. Very specifically, several chapters in the 書經 (Book Of Documents; 'syü king') were later forgeries, "rediscovered" several centuries after they had been destroyed. Indeed ancient, but not valid. His unpublished but widely circulated book 尚書古文疏證 'seung syü ku man so jing'; "the book of historical documents is incompletely vetted") showed that large portions were from the third century CE.

It was published after his death, because it was a groundbreaking work. And fundamental to the "doubting antiquities school" of thought (疑古派 'yi gu paai') in the early years of the twentieth century.

But the Book of Documents remains canon.

The similarities with certain works in the west are palpable.
In certain circles critical analyses remains anathema.
Not naming names but pointing at "christians".

Specifically standard issue protestant christians in interior states and the Deep South.
疑古派

In the same vein, let me admit that I am not a fan of all the sportsgames which most of this country gets orgasms over. Don't want to watch, ain't gonna cheer, not praying for any outcome, and hell will freeze over before I buy the team rags.

Obsessively watching a favourite sports team is perhaps a sign of intellectual defectiveness and emotional immaturity. Much like most of Christianity.

Starwars Star Trek, Dungeons & Dragons.
Okay?
