Our president asserts that he is quite unfamiliar with his acting attorney general. But, per the New York Times, this may not be factually correct (for those of you who have a literal bent, what I mean here is that that is a bald-faced lie).
NYT: "
Whitaker “has frequently visited the Oval Office and is said to have an easy chemistry with Mr. Trump. On Monday morning [Sept. 24], Mr. Trump himself called Mr. Whitaker, not with an explicit job offer but a reassurance that he has faith in him.”"
The president's staff have "vetted" the man.
He is theirs, they trust him.
"I don’t know Matt Whitaker."
Like Sessions and Trump, Matt Whitaker has no moral compass.
But he is more a toady than his predecessor was.
He is the perfect monkey.
