THE LONG-SUFFERING CAMELS

Well, I'm glad that is over. Thanks to the dillwads of the local pro-Israel group plus a cast of thousands, yesterday was possibly the worst Christmas ever. And I'm not even really vested in Christmas, what with being an unlikeable single man and all that jazz, but still.

Worst Hanukah ever, too. I realized that my sympathies lay more with the Hellenists than the Maccabees. Seriously, who wouldn't choose reason and civilization over the rabid screeching of religious puritans and casual murder?
Same goes for their modern day equivalents.

Frankly, both the Christmas crowd and the Maccabeean fanatics can go hump a camel. Several camels.

Quote:
If you find an individual's comments in this group offensive or triggering, you can block that individual. Step 1. Click on the lock icon in the top right corner of Facebook from any page and choose "How do I stop someone from bothering me?"
Step 2. After clicking there you will see a box where you can type in a name. Type in the name of the person you want to block and click "Block People." Don't worry it won't do anything at this point. It will just present to you a list of names that are close matches to the name you entered.
Step 3. Find the person you want to block on the list and click the button "Block" to the right of their name.
End quote.

That's because of me. And yes, rejection is a sign of rejection.

My opinions hurt sensitive people. Sensitive, insane, and blinkered, nay, blithering and dangerous people, but never the less sensitive people.

Screw them. And the camels they humped.
The camels are actually innocent.
But compromised.

There is NO conversation when everyone says the same thing. No thought either. The Talmud dies when we all agree (if all judges are unanimous, it is invalid -- paraphrasis). Dissent is not only healthy, but necessary.

At the moment I am persona non grata in several corners of the internet, because I support Israeli security, but don't buy into the Netanyahu-ist narrative, and can see where Israel might, conceivably, have made tactical and moral errors. By the standards of a number of people that makes me self hating (eh, what?!?), anti-Israel (come again?), and a neo-Nazi supporter of genocide (wtf?), as well as a classic anti-Semite (?!?). After a three-day fight with the pro-Israel crowd, I'm a little "tired".
Yes, that's it, "tired".

Please revisit your camels.

Energetically.

No, not necessarily. I've had requests to block at least 2 other people , neither of whom reside anywhere near the bay.

Its all about free market blocking.

I don't want to baby-sit. Let people self regulate. Stop whining in my in-box.

Love,
Your friendly neighborhood Facebook moderator.

Also, if you were more circumspect in your participation (Yeah, everyone is a critic), for example, explaining fallacies or historical inaccuracies instead of calling someone a "Venomous sow" you might get a better reaction.

Just an idea.

Also, if you go to the Progressive Zionist web page you will find an identical discussion occurring. Feel free to bleat "Trump. Trump. Trump." to them and see how far it gets you.

Takes too long when you're in a discussion with someone who only listens to what they want to hear, and is denialist ab initio. Tried that, ended up having to repeat the same data enlessly. It's like trying to talk sense into a creationist or an anti-vaxxer. Not that it can't be done, but it succeeds so rarely that it does not justify the attempt.
Bob believed Obama was going to come and get his guns for the entire time I knew him. Even after he had subsided for a while, that idiocy would come roaring back to the surface whenever one of his co-enablers got to him. A remarkably stupid man, as well as a stupidly stubborn specimen. This lot are like him, but less talented.

instead of calling someone a "Venomous sow"

Which was totally accurate, because that is precisely what Caroline Glick is. The people who swallow her stuff are just like those who read Debbie Schlussel and Pamela Geller. Heck, they make Ron and Mel look halfway intelligent. Hard to do, that.

Besides, venomous sow is so deliciously descriptive.

Seriously, all I would really like to do is bash the morons into quiescence.
It's not my job to make up for a lifetime of reading outside the box that they should have done already.
And it's probably far too late for make-up homework to have any effect.

Their comfort in their self-imposed thickheadedness is well-nigh permanent, and damned-well insufferable.

A number of people have messaged me to assure me that they have long ago given up on posting anything because of the half-dozen mad dogs. And please note that the number of members is enormous, but it's always the same half-dozen ignorant twats that post.

Face it: those people are psychopaths. They give everyone else a bad name, as well as the willies.

For all the noise you've generated, you've never explained why you support this resolution. The Temple Mount, the Kotel, the Mount of Olives are not "Occupied Palestinian territory'

And Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Fatah have chortled in glee at its passage. What do they realize that you haven't? Or vice versa?

The back of the hill said...

That resolution (which is well-nigh meaningless and toothless in any case), is the inevitable result of trying to have a discussion since the days of Condy Rice with a politician who has consistently sneered at, ignored, insulted, and tried to manipulate the American people and the president.

It became the only way to clarify to that rude bastard Bibi that indeed we were serious about the two-state solution. And, judging by his reaction, he still doesn't get it.

You'd think that after Iron Dome, thirty eight billion dollars, and several vetoes, Bibi and his right wing asshats would at least be appreciative. Nope. Most obdurate and repulsive Israeli primo ever.

This is what happens.

And, as an added bonus to that Abstention, it really pisses off the rightwingers, fundamentalists, and fascist trolls who now dominate the discourse.

What, you really think Israel won't survive this? By all indications, Israel will not only ignore it (while loudly sneering and acting like a bunch of New Yorkers), but will still squeeze billions of dollars out of a willing and gullible American public.

It's called a free lunch.

They think we owe it to them.

"Don't worry about the Americans, we easily maneuver them."

and:

"I know what America is. America is a thing you can move very easily, move it in the right direction.
They won't get in our way.
"

Bibi had plenty of forewarning, yet took a gamble. He has only himself to blame for this.
[As several well-thought articles have both before and since illuminated.]

Maybe that momzer needs some time for self-reflection in his room.

Oh, and by the way: fuck him.

I should mention that the conniptions it is giving venomous sows and savage orcs on several sites is also icing on the cake.

I may get fat because of all that sweetness.

They'll loose weight, however. Agida and a vershleppende streak of the shits will do that to them.

Our allies are useful to us insofar as their aims and ours coincide.

If they deviate too much, they will find that patience might be finite.

Remember Taiwan?

Anyhow, the Kahanists and Israel Hashlema crowd should be happy, ecstatic even. January 20th. is fast approaching.

I wonder how long Netanyahu will wait before he ramps up the ethnic cleansing, or starts another altercation to boost his support among the gorillas.

The back of the hill said...

Let's just say that after several years of Netanyahu's theatre I have lost patience.

But what do I know. I'm just an ignorant Yankee libtard, and I need those magical mystical Middle-Eastern wise men to explain things to me in simple language.

They're so intelligent!

"The Israeli prime minister publicly supports a two-state solution, but his current coalition is the most right-wing in Israeli history with an agenda driven by the most extreme elements."

"The result is that policies of this government, which the prime minister himself just described as more committed to settlements than any Israel's history, are leading in the opposite direction. They are leading towards one state."

"I’ve watched with growing concern the increase in Israeli settlements over the years, where approximately 400,0000 individuals now live; I believe the expansion of settlements has but one goal: to undermine the viability of a two-state solution.

Because of agreements with the Israelis we made commitments. Netanyahu disdains the basis of those agreements and their substance, and has sabotaged those commitments every step of the way.

Honestly, with that type of action, should he get 38 billion? Or even one single penny?

I he were my customer, I would send him a bill and dunning notice, followed shortly by writing his entire account off to bad debt and forwarding him to a collection agency.

Please do not even think of attacking Kerry or Feinstein; these are good people, principled people, and have considerable intelligence, depth, understanding, and nuance.
They are on our side.

In the case of one of them, a San Franciscan.

Which probably less than one percent of the subscribers to the SF pro-Israel Facebook page actually are; most of them are "elsewhere'.

That actually does make a difference.

I regard a number of those individuals as agents of a foreign power, much like the Russian computer whizzes who influenced the last election, and Edward Snowden, who is plainly and simply a traitor, as well as a dunce.
